Tuesday, October 14, join Life 88.5 at Checkers Foods from 8:00 am-11:00 am to drop off non-perishable food to bless the FBC Lawrence Food Pantry!

Leavenworth we can’t wait to see you on Friday October 17 from 7:00 am-9:00 am for the Life 88.5 Pop-Up Party at The Depot. We’ll have the Birthday Wheel, prizes and some great music to start the day!

Tuesday, October 21, join Life 88.5 at Hy-Vee from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm to drop off non-perishable food to bless The Crossing Outreach Ministry! The goal on October 21 is 2,000 pounds of food! 

Varsity Skateboarding is hosting a FREE spooky skate camp and tricks for treats at the Grandview Skatepark on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

Hope City Church in Harrisonville is hosting Candytopia on Sunday October 26, from 6:00 pm-8:00pm. There will be trunk-n-Treats throughout the parking lot, bounce houses and food trucks plus music from Life 88.5! 

Tuesday, October 28, join Life 88.5 at Walmart from 7:00 am-10:00 am to drop off non-perishable food to bless Cross Point Food Pantry! The goal on October 28 is 2,000 pounds of food! 

Tuesday, November 4, join Life 88.5 at Hy-Vee from 7:00 am-10:00 am to drop off non-perishable food to bless The New Hope Food Pantry! The goal on November 4 is 2,000 pounds of food! 

Come celebrate a festive season in downtown KCK with the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Festival. There will be free live entertainment, hot cocoa, small business vendors, food trucks, games and great music from Life 88.5!

Activities include: hayrides, face painting, photos with Santa, and a fireworks show. Life 88.5 will have the birthday wheel, snow machine and giant photo frame!

Tuesday, November 11, join Life 88.5 at Hy-Vee (135th & Antioch) from 7:00 am-10:00 am to drop off non-perishable food to bless the Renewed Hope Food Pantry! 

It could be a perfect time to check some items off your Christmas to do list. At the Oh So Merry Market you can shop your favorite local vendors for gifts, sweet treats and festive wear.

Tuesday, November 18, join Life 88.5 at Hy-Vee (310 SW Ward Rd.) in Lee’s Summit from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm to drop off non-perishable food to bless the Journey Impact Center! Be one of the first 50 cars to donate food and receive a “I helped tackle hunger” dish/rally towel! 

Zona Rosa will kick off the 2025 holiday season with the annual lighting ceremony featuring the historic holiday crowns and our Grand Christmas tree!

Tuesday, November 25, join Life 88.5 for the FINAL Terrific Tuesday in Weston from 7:00 am-10:00 am to drop off non-perishable food to bless the Weston Rotary Club Food Pantry! Be one of the first 50 cars to donate food and receive a “I helped tackle hunger” dish/rally towel!
