My journey into radio began in college at College of the Ozarks, where I discovered how much I love sharing stories!

I am an Orange County, CA native-turned Midwesterner. Though I was not born here, I am no stranger to the Midwest.

I was born and raised in Fargo, ND (yah, you betcha, uffda!) Originally interested in meteorology, I got hooked on radio when I started at my college radio station at North Dakota State University. My dad used to be amazed how I found a way to make a career using my “gift of gab.”

I grew up in Minnesota, lived a few years in Iowa, and now my family and I are excited to call Kansas City our home! My wife and I have four kids, and even though they’re growing up, I still love reading to them.

I graduated college from Lincoln Christian University, got engaged to my husband, Adam, got married to him, and had two cutie pie girls all while living those major life moments out on air. I really did grow up on the radio, and I’m always so thankful for how kind you listeners are, my goodness, heaven bless it!

I’ve had a passion for radio ever since I was a little kid falling asleep listening to Royals games on the radio. I’ve been a part of Christian radio in Kansas City for nearly 20 years. Currently the Community Engagement Director for Life 88.5, I also used to be a play-by-play broadcaster for the Kansas City Roos for more than a decade.

I joined FOX 4 in March of 2007 and now forecast for FOX 4 News from 4:30 – 9:00 am. My passion for weather started at a young age while I was growing up in central Florida.

Just a woman trying to share Jesus. I fell in love with radio in 2005 and continue to be amazed that God would give me talents and skills to use alongside my passion. I love music and feel that God uses it to speak directly into our lives. I’m a big fan of coffee (any way it comes) or a good cup of tea. I love to laugh and make others laugh. Not afraid to talk to anyone, the phrase “never met a stranger” may describe me best. I enjoy singing, movies and shopping. I like to share things with people. Let’s share our lives together.
