OLATHE, KS – July 22, 2025 – It’s more than a market—it’s a movement of collaboration and celebration! Kathy Coates Events is proud to announce Sip, Shop n’ Sunshine: KC Favorite Finds Festival, happening Sunday, August 24th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the beautiful Hometown Olathe Family Farm. This free, family-friendly event is a joyful send-off to summer and a powerful showcase of Kansas City’s favorite small businesses.
What makes this event stand out? It’s a collaborative effort between powerhouse event coordinators coming together to create something bigger than any one event could be. Kathy Coates Events, Mo Sophisticated Events, and Hometown Olathe Family Farm have joined forces to bring you a curated lineup of unique vendors, good vibes, and local love.
“This is what community looks like,” says Kathy Coates, founder of Kathy Coates Events. “We’re not just hosting a market—we’re creating an experience by coming together as coordinators to support each other, our vendors, and our cities.”
