Recharge KC

Anchor Her will be hosting our annual recovery rally on May 4th, 2024 at The City House in Independence. The purpose of the event is to bring in the recovery community partners to help recharge KC and instill hope. We want to let those out there who are still struggling know that no one fights alone and that help is available.

We hope this event will help develop relationships in the community and bring us closer together. At Anchor Her, we offer Christian Peer Support to those who are struggling with addiction, incarceration, and domestic violence transition into a new life. There are many pathways to recovery and it takes a community coming together to make a difference. Anchor Her is one piece of many that can make an impact.

There will be multiple information tables featuring the community partners including churches, sober living housing, various support groups, and counseling/treatment centers. Anchor Her would like to invite all organizations to participate in the event. The flyer has further information including a QR code. The event is FREE for everyone to attend. There will be speakers, testimonials, live music, and refreshments.
