November 1 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
“Overtime” is a praise, worship and prayer event for students 6-12 grade. According to Godtv the revival happening in the youth today is not just a moment, but a movement. We recognize that today’s youth want to be seen and heard. They are rejecting materialism and individualism the previous generations handed them, and are questioning the trajectory of their own futures. They are seeking community, purpose and meaning while trying to escape the anxiety, societal pressure, burnout and political polarization constantly infiltrating their lives. Many are experiencing a “quiet revival” in which they are discovering a renewed interest in Christ. This interest is driving increased church attendance, personal Bible Study and prayer.
On Saturday, November 1 from 6-8 pm, Grace Community Church in Overbrook (310 E. 8th St, Overbrook, KS 66524) is holding an “Overtime” Youth event. This is going to be a 2 hour praise, worship and prayer event. This will be an opportunity you will not want to miss! This could be the event to interrupt the recent agendas being forced on our students, and set them on a more permanent path that matters for eternity.
