Over 500 Nativities on Display at Merriam Christian Church! Some are ornate and delicate…some handpainted or whimsical. Some are made of fabrics, gourds, olive wood. Some are fun like a chicken nativity and a dog nativity. Some are from foreign countries. Some are children’s sets, that the kids can play with. Many are very beautiful, while others capture the dark stable and bleak surroundings of the holy birth.
This year a large portion of the nativities will be for sale. The proceeds will go to the Church’s Outreach and to the Collector.
This is a free will offering event. Cookies, Cocoa, and Coffee will be available. There is also a Scavenger Hunt and some information about the history of Nativities. Wonderful family, Christian Event!!
