Make a big splash during Life 88.5’s second free swim night of the summer! This one is happening in Lexington, MO on Wednesday, July 30 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

It’s an end of summer celebration with all kinds of water fun! Join us during the Lawson Farmer’s Market in the Lawson City Park on Thursday, July 31.

The fire department will be on hand to spray down the kiddos while enjoying water inflatables. Plus, shaved ice!

On Tuesday, August 6 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm come to the parking lot of the Walmart at 2203 Patsy Lane in Excelsior Springs to enjoy FREE snow cones! Come meet officers of the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, spin the Life 88.5 birthday wheel and create some memories together!

Celebrate community together! Haven Baptist Church will host Impact Piper on Saturday, August 9 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

Bring your Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Muscle Car, Antique, Classic, Hot Rod, Rat Rod, Street Rod, Race Car, Drift Car, Pedal Car, or Bicycle for a family friendly day of food, music, fun, and Christian fellowship! It all happens at Grace Calvary Chapel in St. Joseph where you can listen to Life 88.5 on 91.1!

Summer fun isn’t over yet! Join Life 88.5 at the Olde Mill Ice Cream Shop for a Life 88.5 pop-up party on August 12 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. Spin the Life 88.5 birthday wheel, giveaways and lots of motorcycles!

Get ready for a new school year at the Back to School BBQ happening in Hiawatha, where you can listen to Life 88.5 on 91.1, on August 13 from 5-7 pm. There will be free food, outdoor games, popsicles. Life 88.5 will have the Birthday wheel, giveaways and music!

Need some extra help getting ready for your kids’ school year? At our Back to School Bash event, we provide free school supplies courtesy of several local Lee’s Summit churches.

Let’s make this 816 Day one to remember! Saturday, August 16, join hundreds of others in donating food, gas or grocery gift cards as part of Cards for Cops on that special day.

Come on Olathe let’s do this! Join Life 88.5 for a pop-up party at Mo’ Bettahs in Olathe, KS on Thursday, August 21 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. Try your hand at the Life 88.5 birthday wheel, win prizes and more!

On Thursday, August 28 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm join Life 88.5 at the Rising Star Park for Snow Cone with a Cop. Come meet officers of the Platte City Police department, spin the Life 88.5 birthday wheel and create some memories together!

Chiefs Kingdom get your red on and join Life 88.5’s Melony McKaye from the Good Morning Show and T.J. Jackson to celebrate the start of the football season! They’ll be selling Red Friday Chiefs flags at the McDonald’s on Santa Fe in Olathe from 6:00 am-9:00 am or until the flags are gone. (Last year flags sold out in 45 minutes!) The proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

This 913 Day, we’re rallying our neighbors to fight hunger—one can at a time. Individuals across the 913 area code are coming together to collect non-perishable food for 3 local pantries. The goal is to collect 913 pounds of food at each location on Saturday, September 13!

It will be a day full of fun and memories! The Prince of Peace Oktoberfest is happening Saturday, October 5.
